I have this strange pull towards epiphone, but i like fenders.

And if you haven't noticed i'm a total beginner so...yea.
I asked my fiance and he said between the two, it really doesn't matter since you are a beginner. It's really a matter of what is easiest on the pockets or which you prefer.
He actually recommends Ibanez. He says the lower end Ibanez's are usually better than both the Epiphone and Fenders.
