Difference between an Acoustic Electric grand concert cutaway and acoustic electric cutaway dreadnought body?
What is the difference? Are the grand concerts for shorter players?
I'm a 5'10 male, i love playing jack johnson style music, i don't fingerpick much although i may in the future.
The grand concert is dynamically responsive to a lighter touch and is well suited to fingerpicking. The difference is that the font is smaller on the Grand concert but the body is slightly bigger at the back.
The Dreadnought, overall, is slightly bigger. for your height, either guitar is good . But, if you plan to finger-stype, I suggest the concert cutaway because of its quicker response.
I own the Taylor 812 CE and preferred the Indian Rosewood used on the back and sides of this instrument. It gives clarity, balance, sustain, and excellent bass response.
