I have 2 pairs of drumsticks 1pair has a wooden tip and the other has a nylon tip.whats the difference?
I thought that the nylon tipped ones had like a softer sound but what I dont get is the nylon tipped sticks were more expensive.$7.99 @ my guitar center, they didnt have my size
in the wood tips so I bought the nylon and I didnt see any difference!!??I think???
Supposedly, the nylon tips will let your sticks rebound a little quicker, and give you a brighter sound, and the wood gives you a dark sound and rebounds a little slower, but the only time you could ever tell the difference would be in a studio.
