Did I buy a guitar in the wrong size?
I bought a guitar online and I need a full sized one. It hasn't come yet. It said it is a student guitar. I am 12 years old though and it said the guitar has a scale length of 25 and 1/2 inches. I was doing some research and some answers here on Yahoo said that a full sized guitar is 39". Did I choose a guitar that is not suitable for a 12 year old. Is it too mini? Help!
What really matters is the scale, or the distance from the bridge to the nut. 25.5" would be considered full size. That 39" stuff is crap. They're talking about the entire length of the instrument, which doesn't really influence playability.
